These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Kora Budgeting ("App"), developed by Vilma Valiente ("Developer"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any of these Terms, please do not use the App.

Definitions

• App: Refers to the Kora Budgeting iOS application and all related services provided by the Developer.

• User: Refers to any individual who downloads, installs, or uses the App.

• Subscription: Refers to the premium plans available for purchase within the App (monthly, yearly, or lifetime).

• Data: Refers to all information you manually input into the App and data synced via iCloud.

Account Creation and User Data

1. Account Requirements:
   You must create an account using Sign in with Apple. The App will store your email address (anonymized if chosen) and optionally your name (first and/or last).

2. User Preferences:

   The App tracks non-identifiable preferences (e.g., base currency, selected categories) via Firebase Analytics without associating this data with your personal information.

   Your financial data is stored locally on your device and synced securely via iCloud.

3. Third-Party Services:

   The App integrates with third-party services such as Supabase, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and RevenueCat.

   While we take measures to protect your privacy, we cannot guarantee how third-party services handle data. Kindly refer to their respective privacy policies for more information.

License

Unless otherwise stated, Kora Budgeting own the intellectual property rights for all material on Kora Budgeting. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from Kora Budgeting for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms of use.

You must not:

• Copy or republish material from Kora Budgeting

• Sell, rent, or sub-license material from Kora Budgeting

• Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from Kora Budgeting

• Redistribute content from Kora Budgeting

This Agreement shall begin on the date hereof.

Subscriptions and Purchases

• Subscription and Purchase Options

  Subscription Options: The app offers monthly and yearly subscriptions, which automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.

  Lifetime Access: This is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that provides permanent access to premium features. It is not a subscription and does not renew.

• Restore Purchases

  Users can restore previous purchases via the “Restore Purchase” feature in the App. This option is available on the Settings page and the paywall screen.

• Cancellation

  Subscription cancellations must be managed through your Apple account settings. Kindly refer to Apple’s support page for instructions.

• Refunds

  Refunds for subscriptions are handled by Apple and are subject to their policies. Kindly refer to Apple's support page for instructions.

Data Usage and Privacy

• Data Collection:

  • The App does not connect to any financial institutions or bank accounts. All financial data is entered manually by the User.

• Privacy and Analytics:

  • The App collects anonymous usage data (e.g., button click, page view) to improve functionality. This does not include your personal or financial information.

  • The Developer does not sell or share your data with third parties.

• Data Security:

  • Your data is securely stored on your device and synced via iCloud. You are responsible for safeguarding your device and Apple ID credentials.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

• Disclaimer:

  • The App is a tool designed to assist users with budgeting and expense tracking. It does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or guarantees of financial success. You are solely responsible for how you interpret and use the information provided by the App.

• Liability:

  • The Developer is not responsible for inaccuracies in the data you input or any decisions made based on the App’s information.

  • The Developer disclaims all liability for damages arising from the use of third-party services integrated into the App.

  • The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

• Lifetime Access & Service Continuity:

  • Any Lifetime Access granted refers to the lifetime of the App, not the lifetime of the user.

  • The Developer reserves the right to discontinue or modify the App if ongoing development becomes unsustainable due to technical, financial, or business considerations.

  • If the App is discontinued, Lifetime Access will end, and no refunds or compensation will be provided for any previously granted access.

Availability

The App is available for download worldwide. However, local laws and regulations may affect your access and use of the App.

Updates to These Terms

The Developer reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be reflected in this document. Your continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
